©GDB Coaching 2025

GDB Coaching is located on Treaty One Territory and the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the Homeland of the Red River Métis.

My Mennonite ancestors’ story is often told through themes of refuge and resilience, but it exists within a larger history of colonialism that caused lasting harm to First Nations and Métis Peoples. I acknowledge that their settlement in Southern Manitoba was made possible through the displacement and dispossession of Indigenous communities.

This acknowledgment is a commitment to keep learning, to honour Indigenous voices, and to engage in meaningful relationships that support truth, justice, and reconciliation.
